DVI-D to DVI-D Single Link Cable. DVI-D is a digital ONLY connection. The primary difference between Single Link and Dual Link is that each supports varying resolutions. DVI-D Single Link can support up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz. The maximum length of a standard DVI cable if 5 Meters (16.5 ft), however, using higher quality materials and heavier gauge copper will allow the signal to reach up to 50 ft. DVI cables are used with new video cards for higher resolution over VGA, they are also used with new digital TV’s and HD decoders.
